Delivery Policy

Belle Fleur Fine Chocolates believe the best and safest way to purchase our chocolates is to pick up from our stores. We take no responsibility for melted or damaged products. Once the chocolates leave our premises, we have no control over them, and though we do our best to ensure they are kept cool and handled with care, our chocolates leave our premises in optimum condition. In the rare event they do arrive melted, damaged or with delay, we cannot be held responsible.

Belle Fleur Fine Chocolates takes pride in the presentation of our chocolates and we ensure your chocolates are well packed for delivery. In summer months, this may include a foil bubble wrap and ice-brick.

We may not deliver if the temperature in Sydney or the final destination is over 25 degrees. If customer choose a certain date for the chocolates to arrive, but the weather in the shipping address is more than 25 degrees, we will notify customer about the next step (to delay or to send still). We will also consider customer’s instruction about the order. (If your order is going to be delayed due to extremely hot weather or chocolates not available, we will contact you via telephone or email)

We use Australia Express Post for regional and national orders and courier companies for metro Sydney (within 17km from Petersham & Maroubra shop), to deliver your chocolates. Additional delivery costs may occur for certain places/areas and if the orders are in large quantity or weight. We are unable to deliver to post office boxes. Your chocolates must be delivered to a business address or private home AS LONG as there is someone to receive them.

We only send express post on Monday-Wednesday (delivery can take up to 3 business days for some areas). This is because we do not want to risk the chance that your chocolates will be sitting on a dock somewhere over the weekend. (Usually postmen will ring bell or knock door several times and if no-one opens the door, they might assume nobody is at home as they cannot wait for a long time. At their own discretion, they may leave item on the safe place or give a card asking customers to collect item at nearby post office.)

PLEASE NOTE : If express posting, any orders placed after 12pm on Wednesday-Sunday will be sent the following Monday (even if customer choose Monday as the day for the chocolates to arrive). If any delays occur within Australia Express Post delivery due to their technical/freight/network issues, we cannot be held accountable.

Couriers to metro Sydney is available from Monday to Friday (subject to change). Same day delivery is only available with prior arrangement and customer needs to advise us before 10am via phone/email (subject to courier availability).

Final shipment option is to be determined by us (unless nominated by you). For example, we may choose to send Sydney deliveries with Australia Post instead of courier.

Please give any special instructions in the message section about the delivery or email us at info@bellefleur.com.au to make it easier for the courier driver. For example, please use the back door entrance or please leave the chocolates in front of the door or leave with reception if the recipient’s not there.

If you instruct that the chocolates be left unattended when delivered, the customer is responsible for any loss or damage associated with the request. We can not ‘call on approach’ or notify of a pending delivery.

If noone is at home when the courier arrived to deliver the chocolates, there will be an extra cost for redeliver/return the item back to shop, especially in busy season such as Christmas and Easter.

Please ensure delivery addresses are correct. We will not refund for wrongly addressed chocolates.

The more information you give in regards to the address, the greater chance it will be delivered correctly. Re delivery due to address error is at the cost of the customer.

We offer a pickup service at Petersham, Rozelle, and Maroubra stores.

Our delivery service is Australia only (we do not do international delivery at this stage)

If you would like us to deliver the chocolates on a certain date for birthday, anniversary, etc, please write instruction in the message box. We will try our best to accommodate your requests.

Please note receipts are sent via email on confirmation and are never put in the delivery.

So unless you want to remain an anonymous sender, please ensure you fill out the ‘message’ box so that the recipient knows who it is from!

Product Information and Disclaimer

Belle Fleur chocolates are freshly handmade.

The chocolates need to be kept cool and dry all the time (15-18 degrees are the suggested temperature). Most of our chocolates have a shelf life of 4 weeks (need to be stored correctly), however, we recommend consumption within 10 days of date stamped.

We do not wrap our chocolates in foil paper.

We will do our best to fill your order as per your selection. In the rare event we do not have some of our range available we will replace it with a similar chocolate at our discretion.

The images on our website are provided for general overview of a product. The actual product will differ slightly to the image – they are handmade chocolates!

Refund / Exchange Policy

Please select carefully as your order is final. We do not refund, exchange or allow the return of chocolates as they are perishable.

If we are unable to complete your order, you will be contacted and a refund will be given.

Please note that some of our prices online may be different to prices in stores.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your order please contact us on 95500650 as soon as possible. We can only refund if the chocolates have not yet left us. Once they have been dispatched, we are unable to refund.

Payments & Security

When purchasing from this website your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology.128–bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and American express. We do not see or keep your credit card details on file.

Gift vouchers are not currently able to be redeemed on the website – in stores only.

All prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST.

Purchasing from this website is an acknowledgment that you are aware of the policies.

We reserve the right to cancel your account with us at any time if you breach our terms and conditions.

You are not permitted to copy, reproduce, republish, distribute or display any of the information on our website without our prior written permission.
